Story:
With another burst of energy Gale galloped down the steep ramp that leads into the tight canyon.
She knew she had to get through this so taking a deep breath she lowered her head and with full determination she ran through the winding canyon. Brushing along the dirt walls as she raced around the tight corners. Making sure not to step on any of the large dirt clumps that had come loose and littered the ground she made it around the last turn and could see the bright light and the ramp the lead back out of the claustrophobic dirt prison she was currently in.
Gale climbed the ramp seeing Alexis at the top jumping and clapping with the rest of the crowd.
"That was awesome Gale!" Alexis cheered as she watched the mare make her way up the ramp. She knew that Gale wouldn't enjoy it down there. As much as she acts like she loves everything there are things this sweet gentle mare did not like.
Gale took a deep breath, relieved that she was finally out in the open again. She knew she was about to get wet again but was glad that there wasn't another swamp monster to terrorise her in this water pit.
Alexis followed the group of horses that started to emerge out of the canyon down the path.
The next obstacle was the free fall. Alexis knew that Gale was slightly nervous about the free fall. It was pretty high after all but she had faith that the mare had gained enough confidence going over the other obstacles successfully that she would brave this one just as fearlessly as the others, well except for the swamp monster incident.
"Just close your eyes and jump Gale!" Alexis ordered the mare as she raced toward the free fall.
